{"id":356037,"date":"2025-05-06T12:20:02","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T17:20:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/?p=356037"},"modified":"2025-05-06T12:20:02","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T17:20:02","slug":"betty-jean-kerr-peoples-health-centers-screening-van-coming-to-four-metro-transit-locations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/nextstop\/betty-jean-kerr-peoples-health-centers-screening-van-coming-to-four-metro-transit-locations\/","title":{"rendered":"Betty Jean Kerr People\u2019s Health Centers Screening Van Coming to Four Metro Transit Locations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Metro Transit and <a href=\"https:\/\/phcenters.org\/\">Betty Jean Kerr People\u2019s Health Centers<\/a> are partnering again this year to bring free mobile health screening services to transit riders, visitors and area residents. <strong><u>Starting May 20<\/u><\/strong>, the People\u2019s Health Centers mobile health screening van will provide free blood pressure screenings and basic health assessments at four transit locations in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-356038\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27609452117_02b86027f0_b-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27609452117_02b86027f0_b-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27609452117_02b86027f0_b-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27609452117_02b86027f0_b.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The mobile screening van will visit a designated Metro Transit Center once a month on a Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Tuesday of the month: <strong>Grand MetroLink Station <\/strong>(3560 Scott Avenue, St. Louis)<\/li>\n<li>Second Tuesday: <strong>Riverview Transit Center <\/strong>(9000 Riverview Drive, St. Louis)<\/li>\n<li>Third Tuesday: <strong>Civic Center Transit Center <\/strong>(401 South 14<sup>th<\/sup> Street, downtown St. Louis)<\/li>\n<li>Fourth Tuesday: <strong>North Hanley Transit Center <\/strong>(4300 Hanley Road, St. Louis County)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The mobile health services are free.\u00a0 No insurance, payment or copay required. Adults 18 years of age and older can stop by the van during operating hours with no appointment necessary.
