Crowded streets, traffic jams and parking challenges are expected in downtown St. Louis this Sunday, April 6<\/strong>, as St. Louis Battlehawks<\/a> kick off the new season. Avoid those headaches and save money by taking Metro Transit to the game and home opener festivities.<\/p>\n

The St. Louis Battlehawks will take on the San Antonio Brahmas at The Dome at America\u2019s Center on Sunday starting at 5:30 p.m. Football fans can start their gameday by parking their vehicle for free at any of 21 Metro Park Ride lots located at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois. The cost of a round-trip ticket to the game on MetroLink is just $5, and customers can purchase their $5 Day Pass in advance as a mobile ticket using the Transit app, or at Ticket Vending Machines located at every MetroLink station and transit center.<\/p>\n

Football fans riding MetroLink to the game should exit at the 8th<\/sup> & Pine <\/strong><\/a>or Laclede\u2019s Landing MetroLink Stations <\/strong><\/a>to reach The Dome at America\u2019s Center. The Convention Center MetroLink Station is temporarily closed for a station improvement project. The nearby 8th<\/sup> & Pine and Laclede\u2019s Landing Stations provide easy access to the The Dome, while helping fans avoid street construction and heavy traffic.<\/p>\n

Red Line and Blue Line MetroLink trains will operate every 20 minutes, with westbound and eastbound trains arriving at the 8th<\/sup> & Pine and Laclede\u2019s Landing Station every 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

MetroBus is also another option to travel to the Battlehawks first home game of the season. The #40 Broadway-Halls Ferry MetroBus route has several stops near The Dome at America\u2019s Center, and a one-ride MetroBus ticket is just $1.<\/p>\n
