For the latest on MetroLink service adjustments, visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/metrolink-special-operations\/\">MetroLink Special Operations<\/a> page.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The record rainfall in the St. Louis region is causing major service disruptions for MetroLink customers and we are doing our best to keep passengers moving. See below for the latest transit service status and details on the impacts to service sustained during the storm.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Status of Service as of August 1 &#8211; Red Line MetroLink in Service<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line MetroLink <\/span>trains are in service between the Lambert Airport and Shiloh-Scott MetroLink Stations<\/strong>, and are serving all stations along the Red Line in Missouri and Illinois. MetroLink Station Shuttles are no longer transporting passengers by bus between these stations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Blue Line MetroLink<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0trains continue to only operate between the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Skinker MetroLink Stations. There is no Blue Line service east of the Skinker Station, and Blue Line trains do not connect to the Red Line at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station.<\/p>\n<p>For riders to transfer between Red Line and Blue Line MetroLink service, MetroLink Station Shuttles are transporting riders by bus between the Delmar Loop (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line<\/span>), Forest Park-DeBaliviere (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line<\/span>) and Skinker (<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span>) Stations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Passengers traveling westbound to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span> stations <\/strong>should exit the train at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station and board a MetroLink Station Shuttle bus to the Skinker MetroLink Station. Then, board a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span> train to continue their westbound trip.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Passengers traveling eastbound from a <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span> station<\/strong> toward Lambert Airport or downtown\/Illinois stations should exit the train at the Skinker Station and board a MetroLink Station Shuttle bus to the Delmar Loop or Forest Park-DeBaliviere Stations. Then, board a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line<\/span> train to continue their trip.<\/li>\n<li><strong>ADA passengers and individuals who require elevator access<\/strong> will need to exit and board the MetroLink Station Shuttle bus at the Delmar Loop Station. The elevators at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station sustained damage during the flash flooding on July 26 and are out of service until further notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span> MetroLink trains are operating every 20 minutes, but due to a speed restriction for trains along some areas of the track, passengers may experience 10 to 15 minute delays.<\/p>\n<p>These modified MetroLink operations and service frequency will remain in place, 7 days a week, until further notice.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>MetroLink<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-267084\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Flooding on MetroLink tracks at Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/2022-0726_Historic-Flooding-MetroLink_4-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Red Line<\/span><\/strong> MetroLink trains were unable to operate from the Central West End Station to St. Louis Lambert International Airport due to flooding conditions on the tracks and potential flash flooding damage to MetroLink equipment, light rail tracks, network communications and signals, particularly at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station, which is the pivotal station where the <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Red Line<\/strong><\/span> and <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Blue Line<\/span><\/strong> connect in St. Louis.
