Metro is a great way to enjoy restaurants, shops, entertainment and the best attractions the bi-state region has to offer, and the<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Board &amp; Explore St. Louis\u00a0<\/em>program is focused on helping you visit these fun, transit-accessible destinations.<\/p>\n<p><em>Board &amp; Explore St. Louis<\/em> runs until August 31, 2021. You can download a free <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1r4y9wD5t9-xIWN9Gh_H8R88uou7uy6sz\/view?usp=sharing\">educational booklet<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 <strong>with information on how to get a free ticket to ride<\/strong> \u2013 to see all of the places you can go.\u00a0You can also grab a booklet at the MetroStore in downtown St. Louis, at the Belleville Transit Center, the Citizens for Modern Transit offices, and at several local businesses, attractions and hotels. Find the complete list of locations <a href=\"https:\/\/cmt-stl.org\/transit-is-your-ticket-to-explore-st-louis\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Riders will also find customized oversized artwork displayed at various transit centers throughout the summer. The artwork and booklet feature a QR code that can provide you with walking directions from the transit centers to area attractions. When you&#8217;re out exploring the region, be sure to log your trips on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cmt-stl.org\/transit-is-your-ticket-to-explore-st-louis\/\">Citizens for Modern Transit\u2019s website<\/a>\u00a0or by scanning the <em>Board &amp; Explore St. Louis<\/em> QR code to be entered into drawings throughout the summer to win gift cards to area attractions.<\/p>\n<p>Now it is even easier to explore with our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/nextstop\/enjoy-unlimited-rides-on-metrolink-and-metrobus-for-only-5-a-day\/\">$5 Metro Day Pass<\/a>. <strong>Enjoy unlimited rides on MetroLink and MetroBus for only $5 a day!<\/strong>\u00a0You can purchase your $5\u00a0Metro\u00a0Day Pass on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/mobilefares\/\"><em>Transit\u00a0<\/em>app<\/a>, the official mobile app of Metro Transit that allows you to plan your trip, track your ride, and pay your fare &#8211; all from your mobile device. You can also purchase a day pass at our Ticket Vending Machines at any MetroLink Station or Transit Center, or by visiting the MetroStore at the corner of 8<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; Pine in downtown St. Louis.<\/p>\n<p>As you are exploring and sharing your photos, make sure to tag @stlmetro on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/STLMetro\">Facebook<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stlmetro\/\">Instagram<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/STLMetro\">Twitter<\/a> and use #BoardAndExplore.<\/p>\n<h3>Plan Your Trip<\/h3>\n<p>To plan your trip on Metro, download the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/transit-toolbox\/\">Transit app<\/a>\u00a0to your mobile device, use our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/planner\/\">Trip Planner<\/a>, or contact Metro Transit Information at 314-231-2345 (phone) or 314-207-9786 (text), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3>Riding Safely<\/h3>\n<p>Our goal is to help provide customers with a safe, comfortable and convenient ride on Metro Transit. Here are some reminders for riding safely with us:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Federal mandate\u00a0requires everyone to wear a mask on Metro Transit.<\/strong>\u00a0Please wear your face covering\u00a0on MetroLink platforms, at Metro Transit Centers, when riding on MetroLink, MetroBus and Metro Call&#8209;A&#8209;Ride vehicles or waiting for your bus.<\/li>\n<li>Whenever possible, practice social distancing when on a public transit vehicle or when waiting at your stop.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not take transit if you are not feeling well.<\/li>\n<li>Use the Transit app for a contactless fare. You can buy the $5 Metro Day Pass, monthly passes, MetroBus and MetroLink one-ride tickets, and 2-hour passes through the Transit app with our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrostlouis.org\/mobilefares\/\">mobile fares option<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>See something?
